Come learn about the exciting world of natural history. From flowers to dinosaurs, kids can learn about the past in a fun and informative setting.
Fossil clubs allows kids to see the Yorkshire Natural History Museum in a new way, being able to explore behind the scenes and get up close and handle exhibits.
At Fossil Club, art meets science. Kids learn facts like how scientists are able to tell what colour dinosaurs are and then explore with creativity what scientists are yet to discover.
A fantastic opportunity for kids at Fossil Club is being able to learn scientific skills not taught in school. Kids learn how to prepare fossils using electronic tools and how to use microscopes for scientific activity.
Every fossil club session is led by trained palaeontologists with teaching experience. Learn from qualified researchers who have a true passion for prehistory.
Every Summer we host Fossil Club field trips to Rivelin Valley and the Peak District. Kids get to experience first hand discovering fossils that are over 300 million years old!
